Dashboard Widgets: Gas

Gas tells me the best prices for gas weather I am driving across country or in my hometown. I simply give the Gas widget my zip code and it will give me the cheapest gas prices in a 15 miles radius. Gas will even link to Google Maps, allow me to single out my preferred grade, and stays up to date thanks to participants over at GasPriceWatch.com.

The only trouble is when gas goes above $9.999 per gallon, you’ll need to upgrade, and that could be sooner than expected. But it’s also cool that the Citgo mentioned here has a “Five Star” Deli as well, that’s quite impressive for a gas station.
This is a pretty sick widget…but also makes me sad to see how high gas is in my area
The link to the widget on this page is broken, nor can I find the widget anywhere on the Apple site even though I have the widget running on two computers!
Reesho,
If you want to install the version of Gas you already have, navigate to your Widgets folder Macintosh HD : Library : Widgets or if it’s in your user folder Macintosh HD : Users : USERNAME : Library : Widgets. You can copy the widget to another folder and transmit it to another computer via the interweb or wifi, or place it on some removable media.
Fixed the download link to go to the newest version of Gas I could readily find.
