It is invisible, until you hover over it with your mouse. Click it. The widget will turn around and all the preferences will be available to you. Click the location tab and type in your postal zip code. Click the Done button and the Widget will turn back around. The map will change directions if you press W for West or E for East, etc. The left and right arrow keys will also change the direction by 30 degrees.
