Print to PDF
I travel often and find myself relying on Print Shops, Staples or OfficeMax for all my printing needs. Usually I just need a PDF of my document so I can email the job to a printer. PDFs are amazingly small files with fantastic graphical results. Even if I have access to a printer at home, I usually print to a PDF just to have a backup of my document. I simply open the PDF in preview and print via my local printer.
Printing to a PDF is easy in OS X.
Select File: Print (Cmd+P) in the menu bar.

See the PDF Button in the lower left hand corner of the print window that pops up?
Click PDF and Select Save as PDF… Navigate to the folder on your computer you wish to save the PDF and Hit Save.
Aren’t some of these features that come packaged with a Mac computer so cool?
